As a public and private sector collaboration, ACE is made up of a team of established entrepreneurs, led by the Minister in charge of Entrepreneurship and supported by a multi-agency Secretariat.
ACE is currently led Mr Lee Yi Shyan who is the Minister of State for Trade & Industry and Manpower, and Minister in-charge of Entrepreneurship. Supporting Mr Lee Yi Shyan is Mr Inderjit Singh, Deputy Chairman of ACE and a group of private sector individuals as Council Members.
In 2003, Mr Raymond Lim who was then the Minister in charge of Entrepreneurship steered the pioneer group of the ACE team. In mid 2004, Dr Vivian Balakrishnan was appointed to take the lead role as the ACE Chairman and the Minister in charge of Entrepreneurship.
The ACE Secretariat is headed by Mr Png Cheong Boon, Chief Executive, SPRING Singapore and a multi-agency secretariat with officers from Ministry of Trade & Industry (MTI), the Economic Development Board (EDB) and International Enterprise Singapore (IES).
