The role of the four Action Crucibles (AC) under ACE - Culture & Education, Financing, Rules and Internationalisation, is to strategise and drive the implementation of the various programmes and initiatives.
Since its inception in 2003, much progress has been achieved through the work of the various ACs. ACE has catalysed changes by formulating and putting together many initiatives to evolve a new culture and environment that is pro-enterprise. Below are some of ACE's key milestones and achievements.
Culture & Education Action Crucible
To foster a more entrepreneurial culture in Singapore.
This AC is led by Ms Elim Chew, Founder and President, 77th Street Pte Ltd and Dr Antony Ng, Co-Founder and CEO of D'Crypt Pte Ltd.
Finance Action Crucible
To improve SMEs' access to financing by developing a spectrum of financing instruments and a business environment that is conducive to supporting financing for SMEs.
This AC is led by Mr Inderjit Singh, Member of Parliament and CEO, Infiniti Solutions Pte Ltd.
Rules Action Crucible
To lower the regulatory burden on businesses through existing pro-enterprise government initiatives and to seek feedback on rules affecting businesses.
This AC is led by Mr Patrick Daniel, Editor-In-Chief, English and Malay Newspapers Division, Singapore Press Holding.
Internationalisation Action Crucible
To provide focused and high quality advice to companies on their overseas venture.
This AC is led by Mr Richard Eu, Group CEO, Eu Yan Sang International Ltd.
